Watkin Jones Group creates new jobs in North Wales

Bangor based construction company Watkin Jones Group has announced strong half-yearly results and is creating 20 new jobs by the end of this year.

As well as consolidating business in and around its base in Bangor, Watkin Jones says it is successfully expanding outside of North Wales with contracts gained in London, the South and the North West.

Watkin Jones is looking to recruit locally in North Wales and offers personal training programmes for all employees plus a range of benefits including pension and life insurance.

Care services provider Hica Group is creating around 100 new jobs in Lincolnshire over the next six months.

The new jobs are with Hica AtHome, where care is provided in the person’s own home for a short time right up to full 24 hour care.

Hica says 50 of the new care worker jobs in Lincolnshire are immediate and are a result of an increase in demand for the company’s services in the region, in particular in Lincoln, Market Rasen and Louth.

The remaining 50 staff will be recruited over the coming months to the end of this year.

Hica Group specialises in providing care for the elderly and adults with learning difficulties in residential care homes or with at-home services.

The company also develops and manages retirement properties which are aimed at over-55s who are keen to own a stress-free home.
